   1. Student Expulsion Hearing #20250415Motion by James Minney and seconded by Eileen Richardson to go into closed session for expulsion hearing #20250415, as per WV Code 6-9A-4(b)(3) . Motion carried. (6:13 pm)Motion by Eileen Richardson and seconded by Daris Harper to return to open session. Motion carried. No action was taken in closed session. (6:49 pm)Motion by James Minney and seconded by Daris Harper to expel student #20250415, based on the recommendation of the Superintendent, for a period not to exceed one year. Motion carried. 2. Adjournment
   1. Adjourn until the special meeting on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 9:00 am at the Roane County Board of Education Offices in Spencer, WV. The next regular meeting is on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 6:00 pm at Roane County High School.Motion by Daris Harper and seconded by Dennis Carpenter to approve. Motion carried. (6:50 pm)
