    1. Postively ChargedThe Bond Sale closed on Tuesday. Sale price was about $480,000 above par as announced at the June 18, 2019, meeting. We have received AP test results for 2018-19. The following scored a 3 or higher: 3 out of 5 for Calculus; 10 out of 21 for English Language (11th grade); 3 out of 10 for English Literature (12th grade); 1 out of 2 for Government; 4 out of 8 for US History; and 6 out of 8 for Environmental Science On the AP English Language test, there was 1 student who scored a perfect 5, which is quite an achievement. Out of the 54 tests that were taken this Spring, 27 tests scored 3 or higher which is well above the average in WV.

  6. Superintendent's Remarks1. There was a potential safety concern brought up during public participation in a previous meeting. Investigations showed that there was ample supervision by teachers and they were also accompanied by an off-duty police officer. 2. SMS Planning Committee met and discussed what might be included in the new building, as well as options for designs. We will be visiting other schools to gather ideas for the new school or ideas for renovating our current schools.
