- Presentations
- Positively ChargedThe Raiders are now in the 2nd round of the AA playoffs. This is the most difficult challenge faced so far. We host North Marion tomorrow night and if we win, there is a possibility to host a third game. Good luck to them as they move forward. We received a rating of Meets Requirements for all efficiency indicators, giving our county Approval Status and Accreditation from the State Board of Education, only 1 of 33 counties to do so. Unfortunately, we were placed "on watch" for various student measures and will need to monitor our growth and improvement.

- Reports of Committees
- Roane Jackson Technical Center Administrative Council (11/15/2022)Water plant project has been awarded and is now moving into pre-construction. The electrical repair bids did not come in reasonably so they will need to be repackaged and rebid. Hopefully some of the SBA money can pay for some of the electrical repairs. The design for the CDL training yard is not going to work and needs to be rebid. We approved the purchase of a tractor and the software for the CDL training program. We hope to get that program up and running soon.
- Superintendent's RemarksTomorrow night, 7:30 PM, County Stadium, come out to support the Raiders for the second round, Class AA playoffs. A Superintendents meeting will be on December 2nd to discuss plans for improving student achievement and legislative agenda. I've also been invited for another meeting on December 5th along with 9 of my colleagues. We're anxious to see what this meeting concerns. There is a major achievement problem for the nation. We are all working hard to address this issue. Our directors will be presenting on our programs and what we're doing to support the principles and ideas towards rebuilding our curriculum.
