- Positively ChargedIn recognition of National School Counselor Week, school counselors were honored for the vital work they are doing at the schools. In attendance were Marie Hedges and Rebecca Lockhart from RCHS and Sara Stricklen from WEMS. Not in attendance were Ashley McClure (GEMS), Courtney Bowman (SMS), and Amy Stotts (SES).

- Consideration of recommendation to suspend without pay Employee A, a custodian, for three working days to be determined by his/her supervisorMotion by Daris Harper and seconded by Dennis Carpenter to go into closed session to consider the suspension without pay for Employee A, for three working days to be determined by his/her supervisor, as per WV Code 6-9A-4(b)(2)(B). - Superintendent's RemarksThe State Board meeting was yesterday and I spoke during the delegation period on our outdated salary schedule for service personnel. With wages at sub-poverty levels, it is time to update this salary schedule.
