- Positively ChargedRCHS Wrestling performed very well at the state championships with one in 5th place and two in 6th place. Our music programs participated in all-state choir and all-state and honor bands recently. Good luck to the GEMS Robotics team, which will be competing at the state championships in Fairmont. This week is School Social Worker week. Kudos to our social workers, Michele Hordyszinski and Jessica Bailey for their hard work for our county.
- Public ParticipationJoyce Evans, RCHS custodian, expressed concerns of uneven expectations between RCHS day and night custodians. She has also expressed concerns on the necessity for an extra duty custodian. Vanessa Parker, RCHS parent, is following up on the accountability in communication and feedback she requested at our last regular meeting two weeks ago. Valerie Mace, GEMS teacher, expressed concern for the effects the second graders will see next year due to the proposed personnel realignment, which would force class sizes to rise.
