    1. Student expulsion hearing #20230518Motion by James Minney and seconded by Dennis Carpenter to go into closed session for student expulsion hearing #20230518, as per WV Code 6-9A-4(b)(3). James Minney abstained from the vote and recused himself from the closed session. Motion carried. (6:00 pm)Motion by Dennis Carpenter and seconded by Eileen Richardson to return to open session. James Minney abstained from the vote. Motion carried. (6:52 pm)Motion by James Minney and seconded by Daris Harper to expel student #20230518 with services for a period not to exceed one year. James Minney abstained from the vote. Motion carried. (6:54 pm)
