    1. Roane-Jackson Technical Center Administrative Council (10/25/2023)The ESSER ventilation project was awarded to Dougherty Company, Inc. to replace fans and exhaust units. Also, we finally hired enough LPN Instructors to restart the program on January 2nd. We're currently discussing options with RGH and JGH to supplement the salaries for the LPN instructors in the future. Lastly, we'd like to congratulate Mr. Cummings. He attended the FFA National Conference where he received the Honorary American Degree.
  7. Superintendent's RemarksOur school-based probation officer, Kimberly Mertz, is taking employment elsewhere in the community. The courts will be looking for a new probation officer, which is a vital role in our attendance efforts. Next, we have a long weekend starting with observing Veteran's Day tomorrow. Then, we have a full week of school before Thanksgiving break. We're rapidly getting to the midpoint of the school year and that fun time after Christmas when we get to personnel season and legislative season. If you didn't already read about it, State Board President Hardesty spoke during the delegations period, and has proposed a new act in legislature called the Local Accountability Act of 2024.

    1. Adjourn until the special meeting on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Walton Elementary Middle School. The next regular meeting will be on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 6:00 pm at Roane County High School.
