  1. New Business for Consideration and Potential Action
    1. Student expulsion hearing #20240418-AMotion by James Minney and seconded by Daris Harper to go into a closed meeting for student expulsion hearing #20240418-A, as per WV Code 6-9A-4(b)(3). Motion carried. (6:02 pm)Motion by Eileen Richardson and seconded by Daris Harper to return to open session. Motion carried. No action was taken in closed session. (6:29 pm)Motion by James Minney and seconded by Daris Harper to follow the superintendent's recommendation to expel student #20240418-A for 1 year. Motion failed. Daris Harper, Jeffrey Mace, James Minney, Eileen Richardson opposed.(6:30 pm)
    2. Student expulsion hearing #20240418-BThis item was postponed at the request of parent.
