   1. Positively Charged1) Raiders have gone 10 and 0 for the second time in school history and the second time in the past 3 years. Congratulations to them. They are now scheduled to take on Chapmanville Tigers on Saturday afternoon at County Stadium. Since it is a WVSSAC playoff game, please be sure to buy all tickets online. 2) Our kids at RJTC are setting the pace for the 2 counties. At the past meeting, 7 out of the 8 students that were recognized as the student of the month in each program, were Roane County students. Congratulations to those students. 3) We want to recognize the veterans working with us. Ms. Annette Claypool, Principal at Spencer Middle School; Bus operators, Jim Slingerland and Joe Skaggs; Future Leaders Program Teacher, Tyler Caruthers and Board Member, James Minney. We thank you for your service.

      Motion by Dennis Carpenter and seconded by Daris Harper to table item #5 and form an advisory committee made up of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent, our Treasurer, President of each LSIC, and former Treasurer, Amy Downey to help us to move forward with the realignment.       The board made a recommendation to form a committee comprised of the LSIC Chairs, Treasurer, former treasurer, Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendent that will help discuss further realignment, which may or may not include option 2 that was presented tonight. The committee will present in a meeting between January and March.

Also, on Saturday afternoon, the first round of playoffs start. Roane County Raiders will take on Chapmanville Tigers at County Stadium. GO RAIDERS!
