- Positively ChargedStudent-athletes who achieved conference, regional, or state honors were recognized. Golf: Jayden Webb and Lucas Hall received All-Conference and Lucas will compete in the North-South All Star Tournament. Volleyball: Lexi Mitchell (2nd team, all LKC), Joplin Harlan (honorable mention), Marissa Holcomb (special honorable mention) and Amelia Pope (special honorable mention). Wrestling: State qualifiers Wattson Nichols, Mack Webb, Brayden Tolley, Wyatt Nichols, Lane Watson and Jimmy Lance. Wattson Nichols placed 6th in his weight class and Lane Watson earned a state runner up in his weight class. Girls Basketball: Anna Tolley (1st team, all conference), Braylin Bowe(2nd team, all conference), and honorable mentions for Ella Keen, Josie Cox and Amelia Pope while Anna Tolley has become the LKC Free Throw Champion, along with honorable mention and all state and Braylin Bowe won an LKC nod for being an outstanding scholar athlete. Boys Basketball: Cam Cumpston (1st team, all LKC), Will Odle (Second Team), Cam Cumpston honorable mention for all state. Baseball: All-Conference LKC honorable mention for Cam Cumpston, Carter Kinder and Jacob Greathouse. Softball: Fair Smelko (1st team All-LKC), Joplin Harlan (2nd team All-LKC) and honorable mentions for Lexi Burdette, Elizabeth Greathouse and Marissa Holcomb. Football: Not only did our football players have an undefeated regular season, they also made history here at Roane County High School, being the first Roane County High School football team to compete in the state championship game. All-Conference 1st Team: Lane Watson (Offensive Player of the Year), Noah Jett, Colton Starcher, Tyson Freeland, Clay Walker, Shay Harper, Jacob Greathouse. All-Conference 2nd Team: Logan Greathouse, Colton Elliott, Garret Brabham and Cobun Cottrell. All-Conference Honorable Mention: Cooper Greathouse and Richard Greathouse. All-State 1st Team: Lane Watson (Captain), Noah Jett, Clay Walker, Shay Harper. All-State 2nd Team: Hogan Greathouse, Garrett Brabham and Jacob Greathouse.

- Reports of CommitteesWe hired Ms. Burdette for the Options Pathway program and eliminated CAD and Robotics, which had declined in interest. The LPN and Cosmetology program are doing well, but the CDL program has also not been able to find much interest. The Ti-Met titaniam smelting plant is offering some opportunities or jobs there and Building E is on schedule to be completed in November.

- Superintendent's RemarksGraduations is next week Friday, May 30th at 7PM, at County Stadium. We are in transition planning for next year and hope to get final updates on our current financials at the next meeting.
