Concerning chronic absenteeism, we are right at about 20% chronic absenteeism. Thanks to our Communities in Schools Coordinators and our Attendance Office, it has decreased from 34% to 20% in a couple of years. - Roane Jackson Technical Center Administrative Council (6/24/2025)We discussed the new building, which is underway with block going up at the end of the week. It is all moving along pretty well. RJTC didn't get an additional SBA grant this cycle, but was given $75,000 for a new roof for Building B by the SBA. They will look for funding for Buildings A and C in the future.
- Superintendent's RemarksWe should continue to hit the SBA up for funding for the MIP project. We had a good conference with superintendents. One session was on AI, showing an interesting uses for AI. Just a few more days until the end of the school year. We hope to enjoy a long awaited vacation. Thank you for the support over the years.
