Student expulsion hearing #20261013aThe student and parent/guardian waived their right to a hearing.Motion by James Minney and seconded by John Gray to go into an executive session to consider Student Expulsion #20261013a, pursuant to WV Code 6-9A-4(b)(3). (08:56 am)Superintendent Michelle Stellato recommended that Student #20261013a be expelled for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. The Board voted to approve the recommendation. Adjourn until the Regular Meeting of the Roane County Board of Education on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 4:30 pm at Spencer Middle School.Motion by John Gray and seconded by Eileen Richardson to adjourn until the Regular Meeting of the Roane County Board of Education on Thursday, October 15, 2026, beginning at 4:30 pm with an Expulsion Hearing at the Roane County High School Library, and upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board will recess and reconvene at 6:00 pm at Spencer Middle School to conduct the regular business of the Board.
