    1. Positively ChargedAs Veteran's Day approaches, we would like to recognize Phillip Howard (Bus Operator), Ben Gentry (Aide), Tom Barnes (Teacher), Joe Skaggs (Bus Operator), Annette Claypool (Principal), and James Minney (Board Member) for their service to our county.
    2. Public ParticipationParent, Steve Kinder, expressed his concerns with distance learning.
    3. Student AchievementAcross the state, kids are struggling with distance learning. Of all the student course enrollments at RCHS (4800 total), about 1200 of those have failing grades. Most of these are distance learning courses. We are looking to create a standard of practice for the teachers to provide more resources for students to promote student success.

  7. Superintendent's RemarksWhat started today and will be continuing for the next 4 school days, five of the board office staff members with administrative licenses, including myself, will be rotating to cover as RCHS Principal due to the Principal and Assistant Principal being on quarantine. Our projects are finishing up. We are still waiting on hardware for the doors here and some small finishing touches for safe school entrances. The canopy and fencing at SES should be installed next week and the issue in the SES parking lot will be fixed by Kelly Paving. There was also a breaker issue at WEMS, which has now been fixed also. Soon, these projects will finish and we can start on WEMS, GEMS and SMS safe school entrances.
