7. Superintendent's RemarksAttended a CTE training in Charleston. With some policy changes, students can earn college credits after passing the NOCTI test at the end. Also attended a meeting with Southern ESC about our virtual school vendor. We will likely continue with their services until we can find the manpower to manage this on our own. For construction updates, construction has started on the field at County Stadium. The top soil is off and so next will be work on the drainage and the curb, as weather permits. Offices and entrances at GEMS and WEMS are finished. The nurses station at WEMS still needs some finishing touches. SMS entrance is just awaiting glass to come in next week. The roofing project will start after school ends. Concerning the new SMS, we are still on target to bid out next month.
