   1. Positively ChargedWe recognize our Raiders football team for their great season. They will possibly go down in Roane County history as the fourth undefeated football team. We are already guaranteed to host a playoff game next week regardless of the result of tomorrow's game.
   2. Public ParticipationGEMS teacher and parent, Michelle McPherson, spoke of her concerns for changing a teacher mid-year. She also reads a letter from GEMS parents, Kevin and Sara Hall, who share her concerns but were unable to attend.

7. Superintendent's RemarksFaith Christian Academy wishes to join into an athletic co-op sponsorship with us. I have spoken with Mr. Dolan and we are now looking into the details and reviewing our local policy and WVSSAC policy. We had previous plans to do some HVAC work at RCHS. In our original ESSERF plan, the estimate for RCHS was basically half of the entire program. We plan now to get a cost estimate on what needs to be replaced at RCHS and with the parts having an 18 week lead time, we need to order now so we can get this work done in the spring. There is another public forum on November 15th at Walton and we will do our traditional Veterans Day recognition on that day. The next 3 regular meetings will be LSIC meetings. RCHS will be on the 17th, SES on December 1st, and SMS on December 15th. The feedback received so far has been very productive, but sometimes conflicting so we will need to find a balanced amount of programs. There is a Superintendents meeting in Charleston on December 2nd. I anticipate there being a lot of talk about literacy and also what legislative action the State Board will propose. I hope to package together the ideas from the forums and LSIC meetings so we can have a plan on moving forward based on this feedback by the first of the calendar year. Again, we have a regular season game on Friday. If we win it, we're undefeated but we host that first week of playoffs no matter what.
