    1. Positively ChargedBalanced Scorecards came out yesterday. We have shown great improvement across the board. SES and WEMS have improved so much that at this rate, they may have no red designations next year, which would be a great achievement. For RCHS, though we are in the red for Math Achievement and Attendance, we are at pace with most other high schools in WV. Overall, all schools are moving in the right direction, due to the hard work of the students and staff.
    2. Public ParticipationParents, Kari Mullen and Robin Lance expressed their concerns for safety at RCHS.

  3. New Business for Consideration and Potential Action
    1. Board of Education Goals for 2024-25Motion by Daris Harper and seconded by James Minney to approve. Motion carried. (6:46 pm)
    2. Superintendent's Goals for 2024-25Motion by Dennis Carpenter and seconded by Eileen Richardson to approve the Superintendent Goals for 2024-25, as revised in the following areas: Objective 1.1 should read "Ensure that the percentage of students in 3rd through 8th Grade increase mastery by 3% as measured by a recognized system of benchmark assessments at the beginning and middle of the year in 2024-25." and the last sentence in Objective 1.3 should read, "Increase the percentage of students enrolling in a second-level CTE course that become completers in at least one pathway to 90%". Motion carried. (7:12 pm)
    3. Approval of Additional Location for Local Career Concentration Motion by Dennis Carpenter and seconded by Daris Harper to approve. Motion carried. (8:26 pm)

      2. Network and Communications UpdatesMotion by Dennis Carpenter and seconded by Eileen Richardson to go into closed session to discuss property matters, as per WV Code 6-9A-4(b)(9). Motion carried. (7:48 pm)Motion by Daris Harper and seconded by Dennis Carpenter to return to open session. Motion carried. No action was taken in closed session. (8:24 pm)
