- Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid West Virginia teacher certification preferred.
- Familiarity with the school’s curriculum and the individual needs of the students being served at the site preferred.
- Employment in the grade(s) addressed by the program at this site preferred.
- Responsibilities
- Individually or as part of a team, facilitate "Step Up" program at assigned site and for assigned grade(s).
- Communicate with caregivers and students as appropriate to promote program and recruit participants.
- Develop activities for program centered around preparing students for upcoming school year, especially focusing on student success strategies, school rules and procedures, and student technology as appropriate.
- Share information with school administrators, counselors, and / or other school personnel as needed.
