Qualifications

1. Must possess or be eligible to possess a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate or Student Support Certificate.
2. Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience working independently, as part of a team, and as part of a larger organization.
4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience as a school administrator, teacher, and/or student support professional preferred with experience working with students identified as “at-risk” greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Facilitate detention program outside of regular school day for students assigned to such pursuant to WVBE Policy 4373 and RCBOE Policy 440.
2. Supervise and/or provide behavioral interventions with students in assigned detention program.
3. Share information with school administrators, counselors, and/or or other school personnel as needed.
4. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or the Superintendent.
