Qualifications
- Must possess a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate.
- Demonstrated, successful experience as a classroom teacher strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Working with the Director Student Support Services, classroom teachers, other school staff, and families, develop a return-to-school plan for each assigned student and monitor the implementation of this plan.
- Working with the Director of Student Support Services and classroom teachers, coordinate the delivery of each assigned student’s academic program through direct contact via telephone, electronic means, home visit, and/or at some other place approved by the Board as necessary.
- Provide instruction, support, and guidance as necessary to each assigned student.
- As requested, provide a report to the school principal on each student’s academic progress and the progress toward accomplishing each student’s return-to-school plan.
