Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education, administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in educational program management and/or supervision.
- Strong leadership, budgeting, and grant-writing skills.
- Knowledge of 21st CCLC regulations and afterschool programming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of all three sites and summer school
- Oversees the SOAR program, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines.
- Develops program goals, curriculum, and evaluation metrics.
- Responsible for collecting, maintaining, and entering data for annual continuous reports in GPS and 21 APR twice a year.
- Manages budget, grant reporting, funding applications, and other required state and federal data.
- Work with the district finance office to ensure allowable spending by the program sites.
- Provide technical and management assistance to ensure implementation and monitoring of the program.
- Facilitates professional development for staff at the program and district levels and ensures completion.
- Supervises site coordinators and coordinates with school principals and community partners.
- Serve on the Advisory Council
- Design and implement evaluation plans to assess program effectiveness.
- Collects and analyzes data on student outcomes, attendance, and program activities
- Prepares reports for stakeholders and grant compliance
- Provides recommendations for program improvement based on findings
- Provide instruction and support for SOAR program as needed
- Assist with grant reporting for other district grants
- Assist with grant seeking and writing for the district
- Maintain a flexible schedule as required by the program
- Perform other duties as assigned.
