    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in education, (Multi-Subjects K-6, K-8 Elem Ed K-6; K-5; or 1-6 required)
    2. Training in the Science of Reading and Numeracy, preferred
    3. 2+ years of experience in education or youth programming.
    4. Organizational and leadership skills.
    5. Ability to work with diverse student populations.
    6. First aid/CPR certification (preferred but required within the first month of employment).
    7. Experience with community engagement.
    8. Background in program evaluation (preferred).

    Responsibilities

    1. Supervise Students
    2. Manages daily operations of afterschool program at assigned site.
    3. Supervises teachers, tutors, and volunteers.
    4. Coordinates with school staff and families to align the program with student needs.
    5. Implements curriculum and monitors student progress.
    6. Utilize knowledge in the Science of Reading, Mathematical Habits of Mind, and Evidence- based practices to plan and facilitate small-group instruction and intervention in ELA & Math.
    7. Lead small-group enrichment activities (e.g., STEM, arts) and programs that utilize the K-3 WVCCR standards.
    8. Plan, facilitate, and participate in recreational activities
    9. Ensures safety and compliance with program policies.
    10. Monitor student behavior and attendance.
    11. Administer assessments as needed.
    12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
