    Qualifications

    1. Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
    2. Valid West Virginia teacher certification preferred.
    3. Familiarity with the school's curriculum and the individual needs of the students being served at the site preferred.
    4. Employment in the grade(s) addressed by the program at this site preferred.
    5. Proximity to the students being served to insure compatibility with the program's schedule preferred.

    Responsibilities

    1. Facilitate academic program outside of the regular school day for struggling students in various grade levels and subject areas.
    2. Utilize a one-on-one or small group instruction approach guided by data.
    3. Work with other school personnel to guide academic assistance as needed.
    4. Share information with school administrators, counselors, and / or other school personnel as needed.
