    Qualifications

    1. Must hold or be eligible to hold a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate endorsed in the appropriate programmatic area.
    2. Demonstrated success as a classroom teacher in the appropriate programmatic area is required.
    3. Demonstrated success implementing appropriate instructional technologies in classroom and distance learning environment is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    1. Together with other programmatic lead teachers, work to develop strategies and materials to support self and colleagues in a variety of distance learning scenarios.
    2. Serve as a representative of respective programmatic area in county-level and other decision-making processes regarding instructional practices, materials, supplies, and other aspects of the instructional program, especially in the context of distance learning.
    3. Develop model lessons, units, and other instructional frameworks making use of blended in-person, virtual, and distance learning practices and integrating adopted instructional materials as appropriate.
    4. Support colleagues in respective programmatic area through professional development opportunities, professional learning communities, and individual communications.
    5. Demonstrate competency in the knowledge and implementation of technology standards.
    6. Demonstrate behavior that reflects established professional responsibilities (i.e. attendance, punctuality and verbal/nonverbal communication).
    7. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and analyses as required.
    8. Attend meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities as required.
    9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
