    Qualifications

    1. Must hold a bachelor’s degree or greater.
    2. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to use technology-enhanced and technology-enabled tools and applications.
    3. Demonstrated, successful experience in information technology is required; demonstrated, successful experience in a PK – 12 school system or higher education is preferred.
    4. Demonstrated, successful administrative experience is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    1. Under the direction of the Superintendent, coordinate the Office of Technology by overseeing the planning, scheduling, staffing, and implementation of technology-related projects and maintenance.
    2. Through collaboration with other county offices, ensure the availability of instructional technology to students, teachers, and staff, including but not limited to personal computing devices, classroom displays, audio/visual equipment, and appropriate software.
    3. Coordinate and ensure proper implementation of a technology inventory system and technology help request system.
    4. Provide assistance to county and school staff in the selection of technology-related equipment and appropriate software and evaluate all such purchases for approval prior to requisition.
    5. In collaboration with other technology staff, provide direct and indirect support for technology maintenance and help requests, including servicing requests, performing hardware and software installations, and interacting with students, parents, teachers, and staff to facilitate distribution, maintenance, and collection of computing devices.
    6. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and analyses as required.
    7. Attend meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities as required.
    8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
