    Qualifications

    1. Must attend or have attended Beginning Teacher/Mentor Training.
    2. Bachelor's Degree or greater or equivalent work experience in a field related to education, public administration, or communications.
    3. Excellent communication and human relations skills.
    4. Proficiency with current computer technology and data management.
    5. Ability to work in a self-directed environment and to be effective with and without direct supervision.
    6. Willingness to work flexible hours.

    Responsibilities

    1. Coordinate and facilitate monthly teacher professional development sessions.
    2. Review teacher and administrator feedback to determine appropriate PD topics.
    3. Monitor participation and/or completion of required PD hours for new employees to satisfy the training requirements of the Beginning Teacher Mentor Program.
    4. Make annual certification to the superintendent of teachers satisfying the requirement of the Beginning Teacher Mentor Program.
    5. Other relevant duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
