    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Human Resources Management and/or Business Management
    2. Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
    3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience working independently, as part of a team, and as part of a larger organization.
    4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with a public school system in the area of human resources and/or personnel management preferred.
    5. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in an area(s) related to employee recruitment and retention, employee assistance programs, and / or workforce development programs preferred.

    Responsibilities

    1. Perform general human resources functions, including receiving and processing employment applications; providing feedback to potential employees during the pre- and post-employment phases; managing pre- and post-employment records and paperwork, including transcripts, contracts, experience documentation, policy compliance notices, etc.; providing pre- and post-employment training and compliance checks for all local, state, and federal employment policy requirements; communicating changes and updates in employment laws, policies, and regulations with division and school administrators; and providing advice and counsel to supervisors and employees on employment matters.
    2. Serve as designated coordinator for various state and federal compliance matters involving employment, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, EEO, ADA, and ACA.
    3. In collaboration with the County Leadership Team, develop, manage, and provide reporting as necessary to support general safety and employment training programs.
    4. Serve as primary contact, travel, and develop materials as needed in support of recruitment and retention efforts.
    5. Serve as ombudsperson for employee compensation, benefits, assistance, and safety programs.
    6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
