    Qualifications

    1. Must hold or be eligible to hold a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate.
    2. Must be capable of demonstrating working knowledge of school data analysis techniques and the ability to communicate these data and analyses to a variety of stakeholders
    3. Demonstrated successful experience as a classroom teacher is required.
    4. Demonstrated successful experience in school leadership, school improvement, and/or related fields is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    1. With the school leadership team, work to support school improvement efforts as part of an identified school designation program through the use of student data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
    2. Through the use of student data and direct observation, monitor consistency of instructional delivery for adherence to the school strategic plan.
    3. Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure that feedback and input from each is considered in the school improvement process.
    4. Support the development, management, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of the school strategic plan.
    5. Provide coaching, training, mentoring, and data-driven feedback to classroom teachers, interventionists, and assistant teachers as assigned.
    6. Assist classroom teachers, interventionists, and assistant teachers in the developing their own data-driven analyses and processes.
    7. Develop connections between the school, district office, families, and local business community to assist the school acquiring additional resources to facilitate the school improvement process
    8. Act in concert with the district office and the building principal to build teacher leadership capacity at the school.
