Lead Special Educator

    Qualifications

    1. Must possess a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate endorsed for at least one special education area.
    2. Possession of a West Virginia Professional Administrative Certificate is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    1. Provide professional support, guidance, and advice to beginning and experienced special educators as needed.
    2. Working with the Director of Student Support Services and other special educators as needed, coordinate the scheduling and delivery of special education services at the assigned school.
    3. Working with the Director of Student Support Services, coordinate and, as needed, provide direct data entry in support of record keeping and monitoring of individualized education plans as required by federal and state laws and policies
