    Qualifications

    1. Must possess a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate.
    2. Demonstrated, successful experience as a classroom teacher strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities

    1. Working with the Director Student Support Services, classroom teachers, other school staff, and families, develop a return-to-school plan for each assigned student and monitor the implementation of this plan.
    2. Working with the Director of Student Support Services and classroom teachers, coordinate the delivery of each assigned student’s academic program through direct contact via telephone, electronic means, home visit, and/or at some other place approved by the Board as necessary.
    3. Provide instruction, support, and guidance as necessary to each assigned student.
    4. As requested, provide a report to the school principal on each student’s academic progress and the progress toward accomplishing each student’s return-to-school plan.
