    Effective October 9, 2018

    The purpose of the evaluation is to improve performance and encourage professional growth.

    For the purpose of this policy, central office personnel are defined as professional personnel whose titles include but are not limited to the following: central office administrator supervisor, director, coordinator, and/or program specialist.

    For the purposes of this policy, school leaders are administrators responsible for the collective success of their school including the learning, growth and achievement of students, staff and self.

    In order to satisfy the requirements of West Virginia State Board of Education policy 5310, Performance Evaluation of School Personnel, the Board adopts the evaluation procedures detailed in that policy for central office personnel and school leaders.
