  6. Superintendent's RemarksBid for bonds was an excellent surprise. Roofing projects at SES and GEMS have are under way. We will receive weekly reports from the Clerk-of-the-Works and have the first report already. Some updates have been made to Handimart Field which include extending the fence near the Bypass / Market Street intersection and adding gates. Professional development will be taking place throughout the summer all over the state. Math 4 Life is coming up and the Superintendent's Conference is in Beckley this week. There will also be some county professional development in July. The student and employee attendance data are currently under review. It will be discussed at an upcoming board meeting.Motion by James Minney and seconded by Eileen Richardson to adjourn until the next regular meeting on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 6:00 pm at Roane County High School.
