6. Superintendent's RemarksSMS Planning Committee Meeting went over schematics for the new SMS using site #5. Now, there is a visual for us to present to the SBA to show them what we've done so far. It is hopeful that we may be funded, if not this year, then we're definitely in line and the SBA may commit to a multi-year funding cycle, which has been the funding trend for projects the size of ours. Our next meeting is the meeting for the LSIC. Given the strides we've taken to build our support in the community, now will be a great time to have our LSIC's really understand the potential they have and support them to drive great changes for the schools. November will be another busy month with meetings.
