    1. Positively ChargedThere has been much progress around the county: The new SMS should be mostly complete within the next ten weeks. Paving will start in the summer when the campus has been cleared out. Our lighting projects are also underway as part of our work with the County Commission support out at GEMS, WEMS, and SES. RCHS also has the first of the new HVAC units installed as part of the ESSER project and a lot of progress will be made during spring break. It will be exciting to see how much progress will be made this season.
    2. Public ParticipationMichelle Ash (Special Education Director) and Donna May (RCHS Secretary) expressed concerns about the personnel realignment for the 2024-25 school year. Melinda Parkins (RCHS parent), requested information on direction concerning Policy 223 - Program of Study for High School (Grades 9 through 12).

  7. Superintendent's RemarksNow that personnel season is over, budget and policy seasons are about to start. We will be refreshing our policies to reflect changes in state code and I will give a legislative update soon. There will also be a special legislative session before May 14th. Spring break starts on Monday. We have many exciting things coming up.
